Day02 : MumbaiThe most cosmopolitan, business capital of India. Start tour visiting Gateway of India built in 1911 to commemorate the visit of King Georage V and Queen Mary to India, Hutatma Chowk,the business centre, Jain Temple,Marine Drive and Prince of Wales Museum. Eveving dinner in Chinese restaurant. Day03 : Mumbai / Bangalore Morning transfer to Domestic airport. Flight to BLR. Meet and transfer to hotel. Ban glore,”the town of Beans”was founded in early 16th century is also the “Garden City” and fastest growing city. Home to electronics industry in India. Afternoon city tour visiting the Bull Temple,Vidhana Saudha, housing the state secretariat is a combination of ancient and modern style a rchtecture. Also visit Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Lallbagh, the botanical garden. The aromatic South Indian dinner in the evening. Day04 : Banglore / Sravanbelagola / Halebid / Blurt / Hassan Morning start for a full day tour. Sravanagelgola, the massive rock, Indragiri Hill, Looms with 500 steps winding up to the summit where stands the monolithic statue of Lord Bahubali, the Jain Prince. Later visit the ornamental Chennakesava Temple in Belur and Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebid. They are marvels in stone, built in 10 – 13 century. Evening arrive Hassan. Hassan has one of the few atomic energy research centers in India. Day05 : Hassan / Mysore Morning leave for Mysore, the sandalwood city. It has been the seat of ancient ruling dynasties since 10th century, an important centre for religion, education and culture for centuries. Enroute visit Sri Rangapattanam, Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. Evening vidit the Brindavan Garden. Dinner in the hotel. Day06 : MysoreRise to a full day tour ahead. Visit the Chamundi Hills overlooking the city. Temple of Goddess Chamundi and Nandi Bull. Come down to visit the Lalitha Mahal Palace,Bulit in Indo – Saracenic style in 1907. Later visit Chamarajendra Zoological Garden, the art gallery, silk factory and sandelwood oil factory. Evening all vegetarian Dasaprakash dinner. Day07 : Mysore / Nagarhole Leave for Nagarhole National Park coverning 573 SQ kms is an ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. Afternoon game viewing by jeep accompanied by trained forest guide. Evening bonfire dinner. A film show on the flora and fauna. Day08 : Nagarhole / Vythiri Early morning game view of the park, an elephant ride and local boat trip on the Habini River. After lunch proceed to Vythiri.On arrival transfer by jeep to Vythiri resort. Day09 : Vythiri / Calicut / Guruvauoor After breakfast drive to Guruvayoor via Calicut. Enroute visit Beypore, one of the prominent ports and fishing harbours of ancient Kerala, ORU making (Local ship making yard), Carpet weaving….. etc. Later drive to Guruvayoor. On arrival at Guruvayoor check in at hotel for 01 night. Guruvayoor is one of the most sacred and important pilgrimage centre of Kerala.Its main attraction is Sree Krishna temple. This historic temple is shrouded in mystery. Afternoon go for orientation tour of Guruvayoor and visit elephant stable, mural painting school…etc. Day10 : Guruvayoor / Cochin Morning after breakfast drive to Cochin. Cochin – the Queen of Arabian Sea is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. The ancient Temples, Churches and Synagogues in this district are of special interest to archeologists and historians. The Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch palace and the Bolghatty palace in Cochin Enrich the heritage of Kerala.On arrival check in at hotel for 02 nights. Evening watch Kathakali, the dance drama of Kerala. Day11 : Cochin Morning sightseeing of Cochin including St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. Afternoon free to explore the city. Day12 : Cochin / Alleppey / Houseboat After breakfast drive to Alleppey where you will check in at the Houseboat for 24 hrs cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala. Occasional stops to view Kerala village. Normally the villagers are generous and welcoming. Overnight in the Houseboat. Day13 : Houseboat / KumarakomMorning in the boat. Later you will arrive at Kumarakom, where you will check in at a Lake resort for overnight stay. The suggested resort is an excellent place to stay. The construction of the resort is in Kerala architecture and you can approach by boat. Rest of the day free to relax. Day14 : Kumarakom / Cochin / Mumbai Morning transfer to Cochin airport.
